Macon County Annex Building Voting Center
Location: 151 West Wood Street, Decatur, Il 62523 – click to open Google Maps
The new voting center is located in the new Macon County Annex Building at 151 West Wood Street, which has the large “Unstoppable” train mural on the west side.
The Macon County Annex Building was purchased in September of 2023 and was intended to be a dual-use facility. Half of the building was designed to be an voting center, which will take the place of the location in the County Office Building. The new voting center is fully ADA-compliant and offers onsite parking. The other half of the building will be utilized by another department early next year.
The new voting center will replace the voting location in the County Office Building. Anyone who wants to vote will do so at the new location.
Early voting begins September 26, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
