March 17, 2026 General Primary Election The specimen ballots for the upcoming March 17, 2026 General Primary Election are now available. Early Voting for the General Primary begins on Thursday, February 5, 2026 and will take place at the Early Voting Center located at 151 W. Wood Street, Decatur.  Early Voting hours are posted. Vote By Mail Ballots will be mailed out on February 5, 2026.  You can request a Vote By Mail Ballot on the county’s website by clicking here or in person at the county clerk’s office during normal business hours.

The publication date for the 2025 assessments is September 27, 2025. The deadline to file an appeal with the Board of Review is October 27, 2025. A copy of the publication is located in the downloads section of this website.
