Job Opening

Job Title:      Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Family Support Specialist

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Health Studies, Psychology, Nursing, or related field. Experience preferred in child, family, or community services.

Provides family support and activities to eligible families to eliminate the risk of child abuse or neglect. Must have computer experience and be able to organize and file information. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, the public, and other professional personnel. Must have the ability to work with diverse community groups. Must have a dependable vehicle for use during work hours, valid Illinois Driver’s License, and appropriate auto insurance. Must be able to carry, pull, and manage a minimum of 30 pounds of equipment daily.

Salary: $49,600
